About Me
For a long time, I wrestled with delayed vision — seeing everyone else clearly while struggling to see myself. I carried the weight of wanting people to validate me, hoping they would match my passion, my heart, my urgency. And when they didn’t, I quietly battled the lie that I wasn’t enough or that my voice didn’t matter. I was searching for approval in people instead of the One who created me.
Everything shifted when I stopped chasing external validation and started listening to God’s nudges. I’ve never been someone who loves the spotlight — public speaking still frightens me — but I discovered something undeniable: I have a natural, God‑given connection with young people. I see them. They see me. And they trust me. ~That trust is sacred to me.
My
My Approach
- I listen without judgment, creating a safe space where nothing is “too much” to talk about.
-
I keep it real — no sugarcoating, no pretending — because honesty builds trust.
-
I offer balanced, unbiased guidance, celebrating what’s right and gently correcting what’s not.
-
I meet young people exactly where they are, honoring their story before trying to shape it.
-
I never look down on them for their mistakes; instead, I walk with them through their mess without judgment, knowing growth often starts in the places we’d rather hide.
-
I speak life into them, helping them recognize the value, strength, and purpose they already carry.
-
I walk with them, not ahead of them — supporting their growth at a pace that feels safe and authentic.
The highlight of my life is watching a young person shift from feeling unseen and unwanted to knowing they are loved, valued, and chosen. That transformation — that spark in their eyes — reminds me why I do this. Helping them find belonging doesn’t just change their lives; it heals the parts of me that once felt the same way. And every time I witness that kind of growth, I’m reminded that I am exactly where God wants me to be.
As I grow in this calling and serve the young people God has trusted me with, this truth stays on my heart: “The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.” (Proverbs 23:24, KJV) It reminds me that every moment spent guiding a young person toward wisdom brings joy to the Father. And it leaves me with one simple question to carry into each day — What’s one thing I can do today to help point young adults toward Jesus?
